Since 1990 Alan Temling has provided design & drafting services for residential properties, small commercial & industrial projects.
Architectural versatility is displayed with the various styles of design suited to the client's needs and tastes from period renovations and replicas to modern and ultra-modern designs. Alan Temling prepares designs for small to large renovations, unit developments, small, medium and large houses, medical centers, community buildings, just to name a few.
Alan’s broad experience (dating back to 1985) in detailing, structural & civil design includes: Pre-cast panel and structural steelwork, post-tensioned, pre-tensioned, & in-situ concrete, structural timber & aluminium façade design, road, drainage, sewerage, & traffic design, as well as fire services documentation.
Working with some of Australia’s best known Consulting Engineering firms since 1985, Alan Temling was heavily involved in the Optus Cable Rollouts & Vodafone’s Mobile (Cell) Phone base stations from 1996.
through to 1998.
Alan also consulted on projects such as the Melbourne’s Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne Exhibition Centre and the National Railway Standardization Project, as well as projects in Hong Kong & Japan.
Today Alan manages the TASC Group network and continues to provide drafting and design services for the residential market.

WHAT ARE TELECOMMUNICATION TOWERS?
Telecommunication towers are mainly constructed of concrete or steel poles (or monopoles) from 15m – 35m (49ft – 115ft); steel lattice towers & guyed masts from 20m – 100m (65ft – 328ft) high.
Where high poles and towers are inappropriate for particular areas and the coverage can be achieved at lower levels, the monopole may be constructed to imitate a palm or gum tree. This is a rare occurrence as the majority of sites a chosen in non-sensitive or industrial areas.
In metropolitan or inner-city areas where it may not be aesthetically appropriate to construct monopoles or lattice towers, antennas are placed on commercial or community buildings. In these cases, antennas are either color matched or concealed to minimize the visual impact of the antennas.
